In early 2008, the idea of establishing the first international supermarket in Kurdistan was created by Mr. Diyar Makki Taib in Duhok. At that time, Mr. Diyar Makki decided to open the first chain of European standards in Kurdistan.The establishment of the Dutch market did not come about easily, but it was the hard work, efforts, intelligence and skills of Mr. Diyar Makki Tayeb, who was able to build a strong chain of good quality and compete with European markets.
Holland Bazaar is considered to be the most important shopping center in Iraq (Erbil-Duhok and the Netherlands), offering unique goods and items throughout Iraq. In 2018, we launched another supermarket chain called “Traditional Holland Bazar” known as THB, which opened the first branch under the MRF apartments and the second branch in Zen City.
One of the brands in the Holland Bazaar Group was the opening of Namlie Restaurant, which first opened a branch in Erbil in English Village and a second branch in Sarchaya Zawa in Duhok, also we opened Sham Sharef Restaurants in Erbil and Duhok which soon managed to open its place in the hearts of people.
In the Netherlands we have: As part of the Holland Bazaar Group supermarket chain in the Netherlands, we opened a large supermarket called “Kiwi” in Utich. As Holland Bazaar, our priority is the “customers”, we offer all their needs and specific questions.
So we provide her special needs and all fresh daily necessities such as sweets, vegetables, fruits, bread, chicken, meat….etc. And all of them are high quality.
